Christmastime with a toddler is so much fun. We're putting up the tree, listening to my treasured holiday record collection, hunting for Christmas lights, and watching Christmas movies. Every year I make candles to give to people and I'll be diving into that soon. Still obsessed with this winter playlist.
Work continues to inspire me—great people and never-ending problems to solve. We just hired a new designer which I am very excited about.
I just finished Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender. So beautiful, lots of crying. I have a few more queer novels I'm looking forward to, including one a friend recommended—The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. A glowing review: "It is like being wrapped up in a big gay blanket." Yes.
As I look ahead to the new year, I'm trying to create some meaningful intentions. Being more protective of my time, establishing healthy boundaries, and putting my phone down more often. A more traditional "resolution" I'm considering is learning to make pad thai from scratch. Wish me luck.
